1) Establish, through a strategic planning process inclusive of all members of the KBS Community, the mission and long-term objectives of the school.
Review our 2023-2028 Strategic Plan which outlines our objectives and strategies for education, growth and community partnerships.
2) To hire a Head of School who supports the mission of the school and who is in charge of the day-to-day operation of the school, including all matters related to faculty and student performance and safety.
3) To practice the legal and ethical fiduciary responsibility required of a non-profit organization to ensure the financial matters of the school are properly conducted and monitored. The school undergoes an audit of its operations annually, and financial statements are made available to the members of the community.
4) The Board of Directors operates several committees on which parental participation is encouraged. These are comprised, but not limited to Marketing, Property, Finances, Strategic Planning and Board Governance.
We are pleased to share our Annual Report, highlighting the many accomplishments, growth, and moments of community that shaped this past year.
Grounded in our motto, I Can, I Will, this report reflects the dedication of our students, faculty, staff, and families, and the continued strength of our shared commitment to learning and well-being.
