Tuition and Fees

Tuition at Kempenfelt Bay School covers core academic programming. This includes the student’s YMCA membership, loan of textbooks, team uniforms, most cultural, sporting, and field trip activity fees, and the use and maintenance of school computers. Tuition rates vary by grade level and are reviewed annually by the Board of Directors.

Please note: Tuition does not include uniforms, lost textbooks or library books, musical instrument rentals, or some club and special event costs.

Application Fee

A $100 non-refundable application fee is required for each student for their application to be considered for admission. This fee is separate from tuition and does not apply toward tuition or other school fees.

Enrolment Fee

A non-refundable enrolment fee of $3,000 is required for all new students and is due at the time of registration.

Incidentals

In addition to tuition, incidentals include Before and After Care, field trips, pizza lunch, novel study book, some co-curricular activities, and other miscellaneous student experiences.

The average cost for incidentals is approximately $1,000 per student per year, depending on participation in optional programs and activities.

Athletic Team Fee

There is a fee of $150 per student, per team for Grades 4-8. This fee helps cover travel and related team expenses, ensuring students can fully participate in all team activities.

Before and After Care

Before and After Care is available for families and is billed separately on a monthly basis. Fees are based on attendance.

Payment Options

Tuition is payable in full or through one of three payment plans. Details are outlined in the Schedule of Fees.
